Fooling around with my sister and cousins on the first day of Chinese New Year at my grandma's, I struck this pose with my mum in mind. I remembered a picture of her doing the same, and meant it as an homage. Digging up the picture today, I realized that the setting wasn't in the garden as I had thought, but in front of their old home. Looking at her what-must-be-10-inches-high platform clogs, I think mommy dearest worked the pose with much greater aplomb.
